Dear Neville

You cannot believe how glad I am to notice you are letting us download the presentation you delivered at last week's conference in Sunderland. As you may recall, we had to leave earlier in order to catch our plane. It had already been an extremely eye-opening event as far as I am concerned. I am sure, reading your presentation as soon as I have the time, your input will be equally fascinating. I have already bookmarked your blog (as well as Tom's, Elizabeth's and Philip's), knowing for sure I will continue to discover great input for our own practice and academic activities here at Artevelde College in Ghent. By the way, I equally enjoyed your company in the uhm non-professional context of the conference. I am already looking forward to seeing you again some day, perhaps at the Euroblog conference in Stuttgart next year (if my boss lets me attend, that is... ;-) )? All the best!

Hi Serge, thanks for your comments. It was a pleasure meeting you, too, and Anne-Marie.

It really was an excellent event, one that everyone - presenters included - gained a great deal from.

I hope you find that PPT useful.

I'm sure we'll meet again soon!

Come back any time Neville. It was great to finally meet you.

I think Tony Bradley was referring to some months ago, when I sent him an email saying he should start a blog and I gave him a little info on RSS. He replied saying it sounds like it's for sad people - not knowing what blogs and RSS are about.

Now, some months later, he's actually developed an understanding of blogs and RSS, and now uses them to get his daily news fix. Thus meaning, how sad was he for saying his initial comment in the first place.

I think that's what he meant. ;)

Heh! A kindly interpretation ;)

In any event, benefit of the doubt and a great experience overall. And good to meet you, too!

Octavio Isaac Rojas Orduña

Hope that you can come to Madrid some day, Nev!

Thanks, Octavio.

I'll jump at any opportunity to go to Madrid!

Dígame cuándo y estaré allí ;)

Josh Hallett

That top photo reminds me of Resevoir Dogs.

Heh! Philip had the same thought as well, Josh:

I had more in mind the Magnificent Seven except it's only six in the photo ;)

Kevin Dugan

Josh - I can hear Average White Band's "Pick up the Pieces" playing as well. But I bet the folks above make a better presentation.
